On Thursday night, 23 April 2026, our common room came alive with laughter, conversation, and the sound of falling Jenga blocks.
John from Redemption Church, alongside members of Thrive, joined Luhambo Students for a special Bible study paired with a games night — a creative way to welcome more students into the regular Bible study community.
From towering cup-and-block challenges to intense foosball matches, board games and even a chess vs foosball mash-up, the evening was the perfect mix of fun and meaningful connection.
Students who had never been to a Bible study before came along for the games and stayed for the conversations — exactly the kind of welcoming space the night was designed to create.
This is what we love to see at Luhambo — partnerships with people and organisations who genuinely care about students. Whether it's faith, friendship, fitness or fun, our residence is a space where students get to grow in every part of life.
